The Fires at Bay

The fire
Held at bay for so long
Finally consumes me

The river of tears
Falls again
As you tell me the truth

The dam of rage
I held inside for so long
Will finally break
If you come near me again

I will remain silent
As you try

Try and control me
And the explosion
